Explore your organizational data in depth to gain insight into the composition of your team. Use dynamic charts and graphs provided by the analytics feature to gain a clear understanding of skills, team structure, locations, and other relevant information. This will help you get a better understanding of your organization and its strengths.

Getting there

To get to an Analytics page, you can either click on Analytics at the top of your main Sift screen, or when on a search result, click on the Analytics tab towards the top.

Navigating Analytics

If you arrive to the Analytics page by clicking Analytics at the top of your screen, you will be presented with data from the entire organization. This data is divided between two sub-headers: "They are located in..." and "They have...". Each of these sub-headers will contain categories that break down the data even further.

To start with a smaller set of data, apply a filter  (or many). To do this, click on the + FILTERS button at the top left-hand side of the page, then select as many or as few filters as you would like.

Clicking on one of the categories will lead you to a new view. Once you open the view, you will see one of 4 types of charts: pie, list, bar, or tree. To change the chart type, simply select one from the right-hand side of the screen.

If you click on a particular section on a chart, 3 icons will appear. Clicking on these icons will take you even deeper into the data. The Learn icon ("i" in a circle) will allow you to learn more about the section of the category you are viewing and the people who make up that section. The View People icon (maginfying glass) will allow you to see a list of people in the section of the category you are viewing. The Analytics Population icon (bar chart) takes you back to the Analytics page, but now you have an applied filter from that section you had clicked.
