Org Chart Feature Update: Filtering and Card Content Enhancements

Sift’s Org Chart is an essential tool for gaining a bird’s-eye view of your organization and understanding how you fit within it. With the introduction of advanced filtering capabilities and further card customization with the addition of new card types, navigating and personalizing your org chart experience is now even more powerful.

With Org Chart Filtering, you can now filter the org chart similarily to the Sift directory, allowing you to narrow down your org chart view by any filterable attribute such as department, employee type, or even Skills!

• Click on the Filter icon at the top of the org chart.

• Select attributes to apply, and watch as the org chart refines to display only the relevant cards.

*Note: The available filters only reflect cards in your current expanded view, the filters will not find additional people.

How to update available filters:

If you are an administrator of Sift, you can head over to the Feature Management -> Directory/Search area of your admin dashboard to update your filters. These filters will match those on your directory.

You can now hide basic info (such as name, title, and photo) and specific user metrics including dotted line relationships and total report count from the org chart cards. This will allow you to generate an org chart view showing the roles in your organization, without necessarily showing the people behind them.

You can also add custom attributes to your org chart card by using the new card style that allows for up to 10 attributes of your choosing to be displayed on the org chart card. Want to show office location or a person's shift?

This could be helpful for things like seeing a simplified view, customizing your card for specific use cases or just highlighting pieces of data important to your organization in a convenient way.

• Click on the Card Content option at the top of the org chart.

• Select the attributes you want to display or hide on the cards.
